The 6th Annual Illinois Local Holiday Market is November 28
Illinois Local’s Holiday Market returns for Small Business Saturday, with more than 70 Illinois makers, shops, food producers and Route 66 businesses under one roof.
When: Saturday, November 28, 2026, 9am to 4pm
Where: The Orr Building, 66 4-H Rd., on the Illinois State Fairgrounds in Springfield. Enter through Gate 11 or Gate 7 and follow the signs. There’s plenty of parking around the building.
Admission: $5 for adults at the door. Kids 12 and under get in free. No advance tickets needed.
New this year, the market moves to the heated Orr Building, and it’s an official Route 66 Centennial Certified Project.
Expect live music, performances and cooking demos, photos with Santa, a photo booth, and a children’s play area hosted by Little Lincoln’s Toy Shop.
At 3pm we’ll present the Illinois Local Annual Awards live: Business of the Year, Community Hero, Best Use of Social Media and Ambassador of the Year. This year’s awards are handmade by Rosie of Ceramics Made by Rosie, an Illinois Local member.
Want a booth? Booths are $75 for Illinois Local members and $200 for non-members, and vendors must be Illinois-based. A few free booths are set aside for young entrepreneurs; email hello@illinoislocal.org to ask.
Thank you to our 2026 sponsors, the Illinois Small Business Development Center for Central Illinois and Bailey Family Insurance. Illinois Local is an American Express Neighborhood Champion for Small Business Saturday.
